Ready to pop?

Here's the lastest photos.. these were taken last weekend at 36 weeks. Today as I cleaned out my closet I was looking at my Lucky 'prepregnancy' jeans and starting to get a bit worried. I've officially gained 30lbs now. ugh.

Lots has been going on lately, I'm glad that the pregancy is almost over :-) As of monday I'll be 37 weeks which is what they typically call 'full term'. It will most likely be another 3 weeks though before she gets here and thats fine but I'd be happy if sooner too, I'm getting pretty uncomfortable. I want my body back again, I want to walk up the stairs without getting tired legs, I want to sleep at night without my hip getting numb, I sooo want to roll over onto my stomach and not have a 6lb baby between me and my soft mattress. Ok enough complaints, I will miss one thing about it tho, feeling the baby inside me.

We have been stressing a bit this past week looking to line up daycare for when I have to return to work in May. None of the centers we are happy with (the ones near my work) have any openings for May. Most are reporting that they won't have space for us until later in the summer like August or September (I have been waitlisted at these centers since Aug-06!). I tried touring a kindercare center in Stoneham MA last week but didn't really get a good feeling about it. The ladies in the infant rooms just didn't seem 'warm' and I don't think I can in my right mind leave my little 3 month old there. I so wish I knew someone who ran a loving, happy family daycare, I'm looking for those now. We are weighing the other options now, the one I like best is Tighe taking a few months off or getting permission to work from home until Late June/July or so when we can get into one of the cambridge centers. Hopefully something works out soon.

Today Tighe and I cleaned up the house a bit and finally put away all the clothes and things we have gotten for little Abby. This little girl is a diva already, you should see the amount of clothes in her closet thanks to everyone from the shower and my sister in law Beth for all the baby girl hand me downs.

A new year and a newly decorated baby's room (we will put the closet door in tomorrow). Happy 2007! It will be an "interesting" year for me and Tighe.
